Graduate Engineer
Job Purpose Responsible for all technical aspects of the project including preparation of bills of materials, interpreting drawings, making amendments to existing drawings, preparing drawings in AUTO CAD, daily and weekly progress reporting and preparation of schedule of works. As a management position working across line functions, this position requires strong engineering background, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to align various departments towards the goal of the organization. Job Responsibilities 1. Responsible for preparing designs, calculations, analyses, etc. in accordance with established codes and standards. 2. Responsible for analyzing simple structural members and designing the same with either steel, timber or concrete materials, using both Limit States and Allowable Stress methods. 3. Responsible for presenting compelling and visually pleasing productions on varied building construction topic 4. Responsible for reviewing, and interpreting all design drawings, dimensions and calculation analysis. 5. Preparation of bills of materials as per drawing and tender specifications. 6. Interpreting drawings and making amendments to existing drawings to suit revised requirements. 7. Preparing new drawings in AUTO CAD as per client requirements. 8. Coordinate with Project Coordinator in preparing daily, weekly progress reports on site progress. 9. Preparation of schedule of works for each task order in MS Project and track actual progress vs plan. Position Specifications: • Must be 35 years and below • Must possess a degree in an Engineering Discipline • Must have a minimum experience of at least 2 years, with proper knowledge in Drafting and drawings both preparation and interpretation • Must be a team leader, ready to tackle or be in charge of a large team • Should be ready to work in remote areas as required
